- The idea behind the sketch is that the whale, which has been hurt by illegal discharge by the factory, struggles to swim upstream, and it shows through movement that it is in pain.
- The original design concept (Marine life harmed by factory sewage) was changed to the harm to Marine life caused by human household garbage. Visually, the Principle of proximity and Principle of similarity were used, and whales were emphasized as the theme of the poster through colors.
- The can is used as the body of a crab, and the Principle of proximity is used to express the harm of garbage to Marine life according to the characteristics of similarity.
- The sketch was later refined a bit, including the opening of the tin lid and a more visual representation of the crab's body by widening and flattening it.
- Using the Principle of closure, Principle of proximity and Principle of continuation, the polluted sea water is used as the hair of the natural god crying, and the movement of hair and sea water is displayed through the ancient Chinese classic text sample - water lines.
- I chose UN Sustainable Development Goal No.14, "Conserve and sustainably use oceans and marine resources for sustainable development." Promote the protection of marine animals and the oceans from industrial and domestic waste.
- Through the use of asymmetrical balance and color emphasis, the poster's main material is whales; Through the dynamic representation of the whales polluted by garbage are struggling and jumping; The paper describes garbage as one of the important materials of posters through the principle of similarity and proximity. The poster's slogan "Don't let these be my only recipes" is distributed on the left side of the poster, and plays a role in filling in the blank of the poster, making the poster design more complete.
- This design expresses the harm of Marine life represented by whales by garbage pollution, and the slogan expresses the voice of Marine life. All kinds of garbage are the domestic garbage we see every day. Ordinary materials highlight serious social problems, which need the common attention of everyone and every country, and call on everyone to protect the environment.(176)
Feedback:
Week6: General feedback:
Plan the Blog according to the template shown by the teacher. Every part should be added in it, without missing or missing, and the sketch should be clear, and the final one should be selected for improvement.
Specific feedback:
The most creative design is about the crab, but the theme is too monotonous, need to enrich it, other designs compared with the crab that is not very design sense.
Week7: General feedback:
In the process of designing your sketch into the final poster, you should make use of gestalt theory and other design principles, and explain how to use and reflect in the analysis and design process.
Specific feedback:
The composition of the final design of the crab is somewhat strange and not uniform. You can re-draw the original sketch design of the crab in detail, or choose the sketch of the whale as the final choice for the poster design. Pay attention to the color matching and composition design.
