Ideas Proposed
Black Cats - Proposed by Johanna Leong Hui Ninn
Chrysanthemum - Proposed by Huang Jia Qi
The Colour Red - Proposed by Yang Jia Yi
Peacocks - Proposed by Huang Bei Ni
Crows - Proposed by Wang Sheng Xiao
We want to study a cultural phenomenon, a specific culture that is considered "sensitive" and "construct" your research within the chosen topic. Our team got together and decided on three projects: chrysanthemum, black Cat and peacock, which made our final choice much easier, and in the end we all agreed that black Cat was an interesting concept that could be used as our final assignment. We need to communicate our interpretation of a particular culture in this way without changing the actual facts of the culture. We study the use of design language to explain, recommend any creative digital form of design, each idea should be supported by at least 200 words of rationale.

- Reflection
In this module, we really dive into the topic of black cats in different cultures, exploring cultural sensitivities through various activities. Whether it's making bags, keychains or bracelets, we let our creativity soar and turn our ideas into tangible products.
Exploring the world of Black cat design opens up a whole range of colors, shapes, and cultural symbols, showcasing the vibrant diversity in our community.Presentations from other groups have also inspired innovative ideas and enriched our understanding of cross-cultural design.
Our journey involves conducting surveys, interviews and gathering material from different sources to interpret perceptions and traditions about black cats from a global perspective, thereby providing valuable insights.
Choosing the Black Cat bag as our final creation was a satisfying decision. It made our minds go crazy and produced a lot of design concepts, from small tote bags to portable tote bags. Achieving our vision is both challenging and fulfilling, requiring careful planning, attention to detail and a rich imagination. Seeing the finished product was very satisfying and ignited my passion for design.
I firmly believe that Black Cat design is more than just artistic expression; They reflect culture and society. The study of these designs reveals their rich historical and cultural significance, which prompts people to explore them more deeply.Effective teamwork and communication, especially when working with senior students, are key to problem solving and excellent results.
