FEEDBACK

Week 1: By watching videos and searching for information on the Internet, I choose my favorite subdivision as my research direction.

Week 2: When we determine the major we want to study, we need to know the composition and subdivision of this major in detail. When you determine the topic you want to study, you need to read more and search more to deepen your understanding.

Week 3: We need to explain the brand and use relevant research articles as theoretical support, and then we need to dedicate a paragraph of our own to explain the importance of design as a visual communication tool, and provide some visual design examples of the brand's packaging in the article. Explain why you chose this brand as your research direction.

Week 4: This week, Mrs. Jin evaluated my article and noted that it read more like a personal reflection rather than an academic paper. She recommended that I incorporate more citations to substantiate my viewpoints, which would lend the article a more scholarly and persuasive tone. She advised me to delve into relevant literature to ensure my arguments are well-supported and credible.

Week 5: Mrs. Jin reminded me to include last week’s feedback and suggested enhancing the depth of my citations. She also pointed out that my citation format needed correction and emphasized the importance of clearly distinguishing between content related to advertising and branding.

Week 6: Mrs. Jin specifically noted discrepancies with APA citation style and recommended updating references to reflect the latest research, ensuring the content's relevance and accuracy. Mrs. Jin emphasized that my citation style did not adhere to APA guidelines and advised me to correct it. Additionally, she suggested updating my references to include more recent research from the past five years to maintain relevance and currency.


Week 7: Mrs. Jin underscored the importance of clear pronoun use in my essay to ensure it’s evident which conclusions are mine and which are derived from the cited researchers. She also cautioned against repetitive content to maintain clarity and conciseness.
Week 8: Independent learning week

Week 9: Provide justifications for each question in the questionnaire by referencing relevant literature. Ensure that the answer choices are also informed by existing research. Since this process can be subjective, incorporating visual samples within the questions can help respondents better understand and engage with the content. Visual aids can clarify the context and options, making it easier for participants to provide accurate and thoughtful responses.

Week 10: The questions in my questionnaire are very good, but there is no matching picture. Since I have already sent the questionnaire to others to fill in, there is no need to change it.

Week 11: To ensure that your survey reaches a more diverse audience, including individuals unfamiliar with the specific region, you've shared the questionnaire link across various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. This strategy aims to increase the number of responses from people who may not have prior knowledge of the region, thereby enhancing the breadth and diversity of your data.

Week 12: Increase the number of people who fill out the questionnaires to ensure the authenticity of the paper. You can not only fill out the questionnaires to your friends in China, you can send them to your classmates. To strengthen your final conclusions, make sure you include relevant literature to support your findings. This involves reviewing existing research that is consistent with your results and using it to validate or contextualize your conclusions. Integrating the literature not only improves the credibility of your conclusions but also provides a broader understanding of how your results fit into the existing body of knowledge.


Week 13: Create and include original data tables in your slides instead of using screenshots. This will ensure the data is presented in a clear and professional manner. Add citations and references to relevant literature within the summary section of your presentation. This will provide additional support and context for your conclusions. On the last slide of your presentation, include a summary of your findings and a comprehensive list of literature sources to reinforce your research's validity and provide further reading opportunities for your audience.


Week 14: Ensure your presentation has a clear structure, Present your findings and insights in a clear and engaging manner. Use slides and visuals to enhance understanding and retention of the information.



REFLUCTION

Experience

Through this study, I think I learned a lot. This course enhanced my general understanding of creative media design. Secondly, I chose a subject I was interested in, namely beverage packaging design. During my understanding of this subject, I found that design is everywhere in life, which is a very broad, popular and life-oriented subject. This is also worth my time to continue to carefully understand and analyze. In the process of this study, I think it is very complicated and difficult for me to write a paper for the first time. It is not difficult for me to write, but the difficulty is that you have to classify the contents in your mind in detail. Especially thanks to Miss Kinchi's patient help and guidance, I have made great progress and it is you who completed this research project.

Observation

Through observation, I find that creative media design is a major of life, and we will come into contact with it frequently, no matter in current study, future work or future life. My research topic, beverage packaging design, is also filled in every corner around us, and we need a lot of patience and careful observation and analysis of these aspects of life. This enriches both our research and our minds, and there is no end to learning.

Findings

This project is a good opportunity for me to learn, which improves my ability of observation, aesthetics and analysis, etc. This is the first time for me to complete a research subject independently, and it is a good exercise for me in the independent process of literature searching, problems involved, data analysis and so on. After this study, I find that I need to learn to manage my time and tasks properly. 


In this study, I would like to thank every participant for their contribution to my research. At the same time, I would also like to thank Dr. Jinchi for her patient guidance and feedback. Through her careful explanation, many problems that were difficult for me at the beginning were solved, and her suggestions and guidance played a key role in the successful completion of this study.
